2 The revision of his earlier edition of Beethoven, Piano Sonata in F minor, Op. 57 ("Appassionata") in light of the recently published facsimile of the autograph manuscript (Paris: Edition d'Art H. Piazza, [1927]) ‒ see WSLB 375, April 25, 1927 and subsequent correspondence.

3 It is possible that for the 1927 Beethoven centenary UE issued the volume or volumes with a special binding (with thanks to Hedi Siegel on this).
