Alles ist in Ordnung. Der „rote Bogen“, von dem Sie schrieben, war mir nicht in Erinnerung, da mir aber H. Kirchner eine Frage wegen eines Bogens von a1 zu gis1, T. 4/5, vorgelegt hat, der unstatthaft war, befürchtete ich, gerade dieser Bogen wäre „rot“ gewesen. {2} Nun ist wirklich alles in Ordnung.

Everything is in order, the “red slur” about which you write is something I did not remember; but as Mr. Kirchner asked me a question about a slur from a1 to gě 1 across measures 4 and 5, which was inadmissible, I feared that this very slur was “red.” {2} Now everything is entirely in order.

I would very much like to see Mr. Schmid.
