Footnotes1 The Innsbruck radio transmitter, installed by the RAVAG in 1927, did not have an orchestra of its own to provide musical broadcasts; it may be that Georg Schenker was playing with the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra, or possibly the Great Orchestra of the RAVAG itself, which was founded in 1933 and comprised 65 members of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. |
