Dear, much revered Dr. Schenker, 1

Mr. Deutsch has told me which issue of the Allgemeine musikalische Zeitung is supposed to contain the quotation from Mozart. I will retrieve the journal on Monday in my library and will then tell you on Tuesday whether I was able to find it. 2 Perhaps I can thereby spare you the task of checking the two Schiedermair volumes.

With best greetings,
Your devoted
