Mich würde ja nur die principielle Einstellung der Frankfurter Kreise interessieren. Vielleicht kann diese Antwort Kl. erreichen. Im Mai fahre ich zu Schnabel nach Berlin, da hätte ich gerne dieses Resultat. Alles andere geschieht dann hoffentlich in Berlin. Bei uns sonst alles im Gleichen. More than that I do not know myself, and we would have to take action before it happens. Otherwise it would be too late, because the post would be "occupied." For me, it is just a question of the attitude, in principle, of the Frankfurt circles. Perhaps this answer can reach Klenau. In May I am going to Berlin to see Schnabel, so I would be glad to know this result. Everything else will take place, I hope, in Berlin. Otherwise, everything is the same with us. (K.): wünscht, daß ich von Klenau daß [sic] Datum der Errichtung der Hochschule erfrage." ("From Floriz (postcard): he requests that I ask Klenau for the date of the establishment of the [music] Hochschule [in Frankfurt].") 2 A postcard from Schenker, presumed lost, is recorded in his diary at OJ 3/9, p. 3054 (April 4, 1927): "An Fl.
