Liebe Frau Lie-Lie! 1

Dear Frau Lie-Lie, 1

I did not pick up your card 2 until the 27th, when we arrived home, hence the delayed reply. 3

All the flat surfaces on the sideboard and bench were covered for me by a furniture maker in a good linoleum, that is somewhat recessed and glued in. I find that this is very practical.

I hope that you were very well refreshed over the summer; we enjoyed Bad Aussee greatly this year.

Most cordial greetings to your and the Doctor from the two of us.
Yours,
