2 The concert was announced in the Neue Freie Presse on December 31, 1910, p. 10: "Friday January 13 a chamber concert will take place in the Bösendorfer-Saal, for which the performers will be Professor Eduard Gärtner [bass], Professor Paul de Conne [piano], Dr. Heinrich Schenker, Moritz Violin [piano], Minna Lefler [soprano], a mixed chorus and members of the Court Opera orchestra. The program is as follows: 1. J. S. Bach, Kreuzstab Cantata [BWV 56] (arr. E. Gärtner and Dr. H. Schenker): Eduard Gärtner; 2. C. P. E. Bach, Concerto in [F major] for two keyboards [H 410, W 46] (arr. Dr. H. Schenker): Prof. Paul de Conne and Moritz Violin; 3. J. S. Bach, solo cantata Selig ist der Mann [BWV 57] (arr. Eduard Gärtner and Dr. H. Schenker): Eduard Gärtner and Minna Lefler. Tickets from Gutmann's Court Music Store."
The announcement was repeated on January 13, 1911, p. 9. — Oddly, Schenker's diary for February 2 (OJ 1/10, p. 125) has the entry: "'Cantatas' (etc. concert), with Floriz, de Conne and Gärtner, and the Philharmonic Orchestra. First performance of the Double Concerto by C. P. E. Bach (F major)." According to the Neue Freie Presse for November 25, 1911, p. 25, the concert was originally to have been performed on January 4, 1911. — The Neues Wiener Tagblatt for January 13, 1911, p. 13, stated: "For the occasion of the chamber concert that will take place today with the collaboration of Professor Eduard Gärtner, Dr. Heinrich Schenker, Professor Moritz Violin, etc. in the Bösendorfer-Saal, an essay, Über das sogenannte Continuo, by Professor Moritz Violin has been published by Universal Edition. This will also be available at the evening box office."
