Travellers from Berlin to Santiago, Chile in the summer of 1936, whom Jeanette Schenker encountered.

Jeanette Schenker, during her trip to South America in April–September 1936, met Herr and Frau Levy, who were travelling from Berlin with their nephew, on board the transatlantic ship the Orazio on May 12. Jeanette went ashore with them when the ship put in at Cristóbal, and on June 3 disembarked with them at Santiago. Jeanette described Herr Levy as “a typical disgusting Berlin Jew.” She later encountered the nephew again in Santiago.
