1 Schenker’s diary entry for September 13, 1923, records a visit to his mother’s grave, and the writing of postcards to Wilhelm, his sister Sophie, and his younger brother Moriz. He received a postcard from Wilhelm six days later, thanking him for sending greetings from Waidhofen.
