Vor der neuen Portoerhöhung möchte ich meine längst fällige, durch unsinnige Überarbeit bisher verhinderte Vertragsschuld an Sie abstatten. Hoffentlich sind Sie mit der Fassung zufrieden, die für Kalbeck 2 und Mandyczewski 3 ganz ähnlich lautet. Die Bonner Aufnahmen sind endlich auch fertig geworden, und werden mir, sobald sie die U.-E. bezahlt hat, zugeschickt. Die Reproduktionsgröße der Skizzen muß dann noch vereinbart werden. Es tut mir leid, daß Sie die erste Korrektur nicht an mich geschickt haben. Ich muß sie doch noch vor dem Setzer sehen und werde sie von der U.-E. zurückverlangen. Sie erhalten eine Revision, womöglich schon mit der englischen Übersetzung. 4 Die Frimmel-Hefte können Sie mir ja gelegentlich zurückgeben. Die Setzer-Mißverständnisse sind arg, sogar untereinander. Before the latest increase in postage costs comes into effect, I want to fulfill my long overdue obligations to you regarding the contract, which have been hitherto held up by an incredible amount of overwork. I hope that you are happy with the wording, which is quite similar to that used for Kalbeck 2 and Mandyczewski. 3 The Bonn photographs are finally now ready, and will be sent to me once UE has paid. The size of the sketch reproductions must then be agreed. I am sorry that you did not send your commentary to me first. I must see it before the translator does, and I will retrieve it from UE. You will receive an edited version, perhaps even with the English translation. 4 You can return the Frimmel books to me when it is convenient.
