Austrian Provincial Bank, the full title of which up to 1918 was Kaiserlich-Königliche privilegierte Österreichische Länderbank [Imperial-Royal Licensed Austrian Provincial Bank], founded in 1880.

Schenker's payments from Universal Edition from 1901 onwards for his publications were all sent by transfer through the Provincial Bank, and the transfer documentation for many of these payments survives among the UE correspondence (OC 52). Schenker's visits to the bank are frequently recorded in his diaries, as is his correspondence to the bank.

Schenker's younger brother Moriz Schenker was an official with the Länderbank, working in the Rumanian room.

The bank has since 1990 been part of Bank Austria AG.
