Little is known of her, except that in late 1919 or 1920, she married a Dr. Schwarz

Lilly Freund and Schenker

Lilly Freund was a pupil of Schenker's for two seasons, October 1916 to Spring 1918, studying only piano repertory (Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin). In December 1920, she asked to continue her studies, but Schenker turned her down because she was not permanently resident in Vienna. No correspondence between her and Schenker is known to survive.
