City park extending from the Parkring in the 1st district of Vienna (Innere Stadt) to Am Heumarkt in the 3rd district (Landstraße), with the Wien Fluß [Vienna River] running lengthwise through it.

Situated at the north end of the Reisnerstraße, thus only a few minutes' walk from Schenker's apartment at No. 38 between 1901 and 1921, it was a frequent choice for an afternoon stroll for Heinrich and Jeanette.
