Radical democratic daily Viennese newspaper, edited by Carl Colbert, editor also of Der Abend (Evening) (1914–18), who used the pseudonym "Alpheus," and whose wife Toni was one of Schenker's pupils. The paper was founded in 1910, and closed down on May 1, 1920, citing increased costs and the difficulty of conducting journalism in the current political climate. Click on Colbert (family).
